Quick Reminder: What’s Happening at the Gallery This Thanksgiving Weekend
- Love Local Items:
- On display at the counter screen now.
- If you’re donating for the drawings on Saturday, please either:
- Add it to the screen or
- Place it on the back shelf near the handwashing sink.
- Huge thanks to everyone who has donated or plans to donate!
- Many people come in on the Saturday after Thanksgiving to sign up for the drawings, and they often return throughout the year.
- Christmas Ornaments:
- If you want to contribute ornaments for the tree, please:
- Put them in the ornaments box in the back room or
- Place them on the “tree” marked shelves in the windows area.
- The tree will be up and decorated by Thanksgiving weekend.
- If you want to contribute ornaments for the tree, please:
- Saturday Special:
- Love Local Sign-Up: Saturday is the big day to sign up for Love Local.
- We’ll extend our hours until the start of the 7pm Christmas Parade.
- Enjoy hot cider from 5-7pm during the sign-up!
- Window Displays:
- Wednesday after closing: Stephanie will be setting up the windows.
- Miranda is handling the side window.
- Front two windows: Featuring a mix of artwork from the gallery, with a focus on “gift-ables” — smaller items in the popular price range ($25-$125), perfect for gifts, impulse buys, or souvenirs.
- Spirit(s) Exhibition Reception:
- Not gallery-specific, but worth noting: the opening reception (5-7pm) for the Spirit(s) art exhibition is the day after Thanksgiving.
