Between Worlds: Photographic Works by Ben Brown
Where East meets Old World, and photography becomes something closer to painting. Ben Brown’s latest exhibition presents photographic works mounted on birch panels — luminous, textured pieces that draw inspiration from Japanese screen paintings, scrolls, and Old World mosaics.
The result is a body of work that feels both ancient and immediate, reimagining the quiet elegance of traditional Eastern and European artistic traditions through a contemporary photographic lens.
Join us for the opening reception on Thursday, July 3, 5–7 pm at the Grant County Art Guild Studio, 307 N Texas Street, Silver City. The show continues on July 4–5 and July 11–12, 10 am–5 pm.
