The Grant County Art Guild has several events to start the month of March.
March 6, Friday is the First Friday at the Galleries Art Walk and we will be open extended hours at both the Gallery in the purple Hester House and the BlueDome Studio. We will have snacks and drinks at both places. Stop in and meet area artists and learn more about the Grant County Art Guild during the extra hours from 5 to 7 pm.
Thursday nights the Blue Dome studio space has figure drawing from 6 pm to 8 pm. This is a drop in session and cost 20$ for the art event. The Facilitator Mark Richard is always looking for figure drawing models and I will send out an email about that later this month.
Next week is the last of Gay Scheibl’s drawing classes at the Blue Dome
Studio on Wednesday from 10 to noon. Her classes are individual classes so you do not have to attend the first classes to be able to attend the last class. Gay might do a few more so I will update you are on that.
Next Thursday is the second Thursday of the month open studio from Noon to 3 pm at the Blue Dome Studio. This is a free event and you just drop in and work on a project, meet other area creatives, and have good conversation with interesting people.
We will be part of the April Give Grandly day of giving at Gough Park.
