New Year Big Changes
The Guild Studio—home to our art shows, classes, meetings, Open Studios, and more—has officially moved just half a block to a wonderful new location: the Blue Dome Gallery at 301 N. Texas! We’re thrilled to be part of this historic art venue and can’t wait to welcome you into the space.
Open Studio at the Blue Dome
Join us for Open Studio on Thursday, January 8, from noon – 3pm. Bring a creative project of your own or use our supplies—it’s completely FREE! Open Studios take place on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of every month, and everyone is welcome.
New Weekly Figure Drawing Sessions
New at the GCAG Studio in the Blue Dome: Mark Richard will host weekly figure drawing sessions every Thursday from 6–8pm. These are drop-in sessions—no advance registration needed. $20 per session.
New Year’s Day Open House
Over at the Grant County Art Guild Gallery (316 N. Bullard), join us for a New Year’s Day Open House on January 1, from 10am–5pm. This relaxed event is a perfect chance to mingle with Guild artists and soak in the charm of historic downtown Silver City.
First Friday Gallery Walk – January 2
Also at the GCAG Gallery, don’t miss First Friday on January 2, from 5–7pm. Downtown Silver City galleries stay open late for exhibit openings, receptions, artist talks, demos, and more. At the GCAG Gallery, you can always count on great food, AMAZING art, and lively conversation.
